"It's slay time"

Films: Dolls (1987)

Alias: Various, notably Mr. Punch

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average toy dolls.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: The loss of childhood innocence is a tragic thing, really. But here's to those who still hold onto it well into adulthood. To the ones who would willfully stamp it out, there's Hell to pay...

History: Gabriel and Hilary Hartwicke were practitioners of magic with an agenda. Every now and then, people looking for refuge would stay the night at their house, and be tested. To this couple, those who are true to themselves and value the wonders of childhood get to live and prosper. But the wicked and greedy...well, they get killed and turned into dolls. And judging by their collection, they've been doing this for years.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: By the end of this night, no one is actually dead. Oh no, they've been turned into dolls for being uncaring assholes. The only survivors are a little girl and the only sane man of the bunch, who are lied to about their compatriots' fates, and are all the better for it. Soon, the cycle begins anew...

Powers/Abilities: None, though they are incredibly durable.

Weakness: Some are more breakable than others.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-If you have a clear conscious and are willing to admit you were wrong at some point, these dolls will bring no harm. But if not, you're in for a particularly violent demise before being turned into a doll for all eternity. Ouch.

Trivia: -A sequel was planned to begin with the Hartwicke couple being mysteriously turned into dolls themselves, but it never got off the ground.

-That creepy whispering the dolls did sometimes? It was achieved by having director Stuart Gordon's friends and family whisper in the background.

They also do taxes. I mean, how else does anything get done?

Not real, but worthy of mentioning.
Friends to children, I think not.

"Our lord, grant us eyes...grant us eyes..."

JESUS!!!

It's always the jokey ones.
